Brian Marquis Wade, age 40, of Lake Wylie, SC, passed away Wednesday, October 6, 2021, in Atlanta, Georgia.

Brian was a graduate of Wake Forest University, 2003. He has been a well established realtor for over 14 years, most recently with The Lake Wylie Man Team/ Keller Williams. 

A visitation for family and friends will be held Friday, October 15, 2021, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., at M. L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home, 4820 Charlotte Hwy., Lake Wylie, South Carolina.

Brian was born February 25, 1981, in St. Louis (University City), Missouri, to Betsy M. Wade and the late Benjamin C. Wade III. 

He is survived by Elizabeth Thornton Wade; his children, Will, Charlie, and Alice Wade; his mother, Betsy M. Wade; and his brother Peter R. Wade and wife AJ Willingham.

Brian will be remembered for his love of his family, friends, and most especially his children. He loved coaching Charlie’s soccer team, and teaching him how to play Brian’s favorite sport.  Alice loved having her Daddy throw her in the air at the pool. Brian and Will shared the same love of comic books and reading. Brian was always supportive of his children’s interests and passions. We will forever cherish the memories we made together.

The family will be receiving friends to continue Brian’s celebration of life at River Hills Corporate Center, located at 54 Marina Road from 2-5pm on Friday the 15th following the funeral home. Light refreshments will be provided.
