Mrs. Carol Lynne Goforth Gaulden, age 64, of Rock Hill, SC, passed away Sunday, January 9, 2022 at home.

Graveside service will be 1 pm Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at Oakdale Presbyterian Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends following the service.

Mrs. Gaulden was born March 31, 1957 to the late William Preston and Evelyn Christine Watts Goforth. She was preceded in death by her sister Barbara Goforth Lewis.

Survivors are her husband of 37 years Michael Joseph Gaulden; daughter Crystal Lynne Gaulden of Clover, SC; and son Kevin Michael Gaulden of Rock Hill, SC. 

Mrs. Gaulden graduated with a masters degree from Winthrop University. Carol was a home economics teacher in the Fort Mill, York, & Lancaster School Districts. She loved jewelry making, crafts, baking, and spending time with family. 

She was a devout Christian with a lifelong love of Jesus, a wonderful mother, and a loving wife.
