Mrs. Carolyn Stewart Glenn, 80, of Clover, SC, passed into the presence of her Lord and Savior on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at Atrium Health in Pineville, NC.
Funeral service will be 12:00 noon Saturday, February 22, 2025, at the Redeeming Grace Presbyterian Church, 4800 Charlotte Highway, Lake Wylie, SC with the Rev. Henry H. Beaulieu officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:30 am to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday prior to the service at the Church.
Interment will be in Bethel Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 2445 Hwy. 557, Clover, SC immediately following the service. A small reception at Redeeming Grace in the family life center will follow the burial.
Carolyn was born November 29, 1944, in Clover, SC to the late Lawrence Henderson and Eunice Ford Stewart. She was a proud graduate of Clover High School Class of 1963. She was active in the band, a cheerleader, and played basketball. Above all, she enjoyed fellowship with great classmates. She went on to graduate from the School of Radiology in Charlotte, NC at what is now Carolinas Medical Center. She retired from Gaston Radiology. She often spoke of her love of working in orthopedic x-ray and mammography. Throughout her church life she enjoyed singing in the choir, arranging flowers, and helping to decorate the church for special occasions.
She leaves behind her loving husband of 57 years, Joseph “Joe” Banks Glenn, and devoted son, Mark Damon Glenn. She is also survived by brother-in-law Jerry Glenn (Margaret) and sisters-in-law Marilyn Frenier and Melinda Latham (Will). Additional family includes nieces Lynn Price (Steve), Leslie Glenn (Meredith Quinn), Natalie Frenier, and Molly Latham Hale (Chandler) as well as nephew Robby Glenn (Anna). Great nieces include Elizabeth Kissenberth (Jonathan), Elizabeth Glenn, and Maggie Glenn. Great Nephews include Brennan Price, Clay Price (Lauryn) and Beckett Quinn.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her in laws, Leon and Mary Glenn, her sister Peggy S. Brown (Elmer), her niece, Susan Brown and her brother-in-law Edward Frenier.
