Mr. Charles Richard Dunlap, 65, of Charlotte, North Carolina, passed away Sunday, August 25, 2024, at home, surrounded by his family.

Mr. Dunlap was born June 7, 1959, in Xenia, Ohio, to the late Charles “Ronnie” Dunlap and Joan B. Fawley.

Charles Dunlap enjoyed a 20+ year career in the United States Marine Corps, retiring with the rank of Major.

He is survived by his wife, Jenny Urgel Dunlap; his son, Justin Richard Dunlap (Kellie Vernor), Waleska, GA; and his sisters, Debbie Thompson (Lee) and Bonnie Bennett (Rod).

Per Mr. Dunlap’s request, there will be no services at this time.
