Mr. Charles “Chuck” Harrison Hoffecker, Jr., 63, of Clover, SC, passed away Monday, October 13, 2025 at Duke University Hospital, Durham, NC.
Mr. Hoffecker was born December 29, 1961 in Charlotte to Charles H Hoffecker, Sr. and the late Patricia Ann Little Gilmore. He retired from Siemens Energy after 34 years.
Chuck was preceded in death by a son, Jamie Ray Hoffecker. Chuck was a devoted father, grandfather, and husband. He was loved by so many friends and extended family, whether they were blood or not. He dedicated himself to a few organizations to better himself and his community.
Survivors are his wife, Janice Melton Hoffecker; children Charles “CJ” Hoffecker, III (Lindsey) of Clover, SC, Stacy Starkey (Chris) of Fort Mill, SC, and Brandon Lyle (Abigail) of McConnells, SC; father Charles H. Hoffecker, Sr., of Clover, SC; and grandchildren Carson Rice, Lilli Hoffecker, Harrison Hoffecker, Aiden Starkey, Adelynn Starkey, Noah Lyle, and Olivia Lyle.
A memorial service will be 11:00 am Saturday, October 18, 2025 at the Carolinas Cornerstone Church in Fort Mill, SC. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 am at the Church before the service. Interment will follow at Woodside Cemetery, Clover, SC.
