Our beloved son, Christian Ryan Pearson, 24, of Columbia, SC, passed away Monday, November 6, 2023, due to diabetic complications. His short life ended peacefully at his home. He attended Kinard Elementary, Clover Middle and graduated from Clover High School in 2018. He played JV Soccer and was a member of the Cross Country & Track teams. He was also a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) where he served as a leader his Senior year.

A memorial service to remember Christian’s brief but beautiful life will be held on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. at the M. L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home, 209 N. Main Street, Clover, SC.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. before the service at the Funeral Home.

Christian was born July 19, 1999, in Charlotte, NC to Christopher T. and Lisa Justice Pearson. He was an Operations Manager with FedEx, Columbia, SC.

He had the sweetest soul and his smile and laugh lit up every room. He was an avid fan of Formula 1 Racing, gaming, kayaking, Star Wars and recently enjoyed spending free time going to concerts. But of all the things he will be remembered for most is his great love of reading. It wasn’t unusual for him to receive a book in the morning and have it finished by late afternoon.

We couldn’t have asked for a better son and will miss Christian every day. He had such an impact on so many hearts, from teachers, friends and of course his family. His memory will live on in the hearts of all those who loved him. He will forever be our Junebug! Our family is comforted by knowing he is with His Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ.

Survivors are his parents Christopher & Lisa Pearson; sister Mackenzie Grae Pearson; brother Gage Bradley Pearson all of Clover, SC; paternal grandmother Patricia Anne Dunn of East Longmeadow, MA; and maternal grandmother Barbara Ann Justice of Storrs, CT. as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
