Mr. Clifford Owen Morgan, Jr., 86, of Rock Hill, SC, passed away Saturday, November 30, 2024 at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House, Rock Hill, SC.
A graveside service with Military Honors will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 30, 2024 at Woodside Cemetery, Clover, SC with the Rev. Matt Allison officiating, followed by a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. at the Ebenezer A.R.P. Church, 2132 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC. The family will receive friends following the service at the Church.
Owen Morgan was born January 4, 1938 in Chattanooga, TN to the late Clifford Owen Morgan, Sr. and Mary Alice Tatom Morgan. Owen graduated from Clover High School in 1956 and the University of South Carolina in 1960. He was a U. S. Army Veteran medically retired and retired Pharmacist. He was a member of Ebenezer A.R.P. Church and the Gamecock Club, both for over 60 years. He was also an Eagle Scout.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Curry Morgan and his brother, Russell Tatum Morgan.
Survivors are his loving family, Clifford Owen Morgan, III “Chip” (Beth) of Burlington, VT; and three grandchildren Daniel Morgan of South Burlington, VT, Mary Pat Morgan of College Park, MD, and Adam Morgan of Burlington, VT, as well as many nieces and nephews.
