E. Dale Soronen earned his wings at his home on Thursday, March 25, 2021, following a battle with cancer. A retired army veteran, Dale was an avid hunter and outdoorsman who owned and operated the long successful Dale's Auto Service and treasured time with family and friends.

Mr. Soronen was born October 28, 1947 in Columbus, OH and was preceded in death by his parents, Eldred "Al" and Joyce "Bootsie" Soronen, brother David Soronen, and daughters, Kimberly and Christian Soronen.

Dale was survived by his daughters Catherine "Cat" and her husband, Michael Pfeffer and Bonny and her husband, Eddie Cooper, granddaughters, Natalie Carroll and Lisel Meri, grandsons, Austin Bryce, Evan Reece, Corey Dylan, his sister, Judy and her husband Steven Kunstler, niece, Stacey Kuntsler, and beloved dog, Annie.

A celebration of life with Military Honors will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 3, 2021 at M. L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home, 4820 Charlotte Highway, Lake Wylie, SC.  The family will receive friends 1 hour before the service.
