Daniel Lee House, Sr., 75, of Lake Wylie, South Carolina, passed away surrounded by family on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at CaroMont Health, Gastonia, North Carolina.

Daniel was born October 4, 1946, in Topeka, Kansas, to the late Howard J. House, Jr. and Marjorie Ann Jones House. He was a proud graduate of the University of Kansas with a degree in Electrical Engineering and was a Kansas Jayhawk basketball fanatic. His career spanned more than 35 years, primarily in the aerospace industry, with IBM Federal Systems, Loral and Lockheed Martin in Owego, NY. He was a key contributor to numerous projects such as the Space Shuttle program, the F-14 Tomcat fighter jet, the UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter, and many more. Daniel retired to Lake Wylie, South Carolina in 2007.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Cheryl Lee Fromdahl House; his three sons, Daniel Lee House, Jr. (Jennifer), Raleigh, NC, Sean B. House (Adriane Musuneggi), Seattle, WA, and Scott James Packer (Jennifer), Rock Hill, SC. His two grandchildren, Kayla Pereira and Alecia House; his two sisters, Shirley J. McDonald (Marvin Scott) and Sarah Ann Wemple (Jim); as well as his nieces and nephew, Jennifer McDonald, Brian Wemple (Tamari), and Laura Molodecki (Andrew).

A memorial service will be held at M. L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home, 4820 Charlotte Hwy., Lake Wylie, SC, Saturday, September 10, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends starting one hour before the service.
