Mrs. Darline Wray Ivey, 72, of York, SC, passed away Sunday, November 16, 2025 at home surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Ivey was born July 8, 1953 in York County, SC to the late Alonzo Furman and Vinnie Mae Costner Wray.  She was retired from the U. S. Postal Service. Darline loved spending time with her family and loved ones, doing crafts and tending to her fur babies.

Survivors are her husband of 55 years, James Donald “Don” Ivey; daughter Kimberley I. Jones (Brian) SC; grandson Patrick Jones all of York, SC; sisters Margie Mayo of Greenwood, SC and Jorie Davidson (Randy) of York, SC; brother LeRoy Wray (Linda) of York, SC; honorary son Ethan Richardson; sisters-in-law Diane Wray and Ann Wray; and several nieces, nephews and loving friends.

Including her parents, Darline was preceded in death by two brothers, Glen Wray and Larry Dean Wray, sister-in-law, Diane Howell Wray, brother-in-law, Sonny Mayo, and a special aunt, Margaret Costner Hyde.

The family will follow her wishes and have a very private celebration of life.
