Mr. Darren Eugene Brown, 58, of Lake Wylie, SC, passed away Thursday, March 24, 2022 at home.

Graveside service with Masonic Rites will be 5:00 p.m. Monday, March 28, 2022 at Old Steel Creek Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 7001 Steel Creek Rd., Highway 160, Charlotte, NC with the Rev. Jeff Pinkston officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, March 27, 2022 at M. L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home, 4820 Charlotte Highway, Lake Wylie, SC.

Mr. Brown was born October 18, 1963 in Mooresville, NC to Barbara Gail Williams Brown and the late Jerry Eugene Brown. 

Survivors are his wife Tim Steed Poteat Brown; daughter McKenzie Elizabeth Brown of Lake Wylie, SC; son Jamey Eugene Brown (Samantha) of Lake Wylie, SC; step-daughter Ashleigh Poteat (Jeff Chase) of Conway, SC; mother Barbara Gail Brown of Lake Wylie, SC; and grandchildren Zachary Eugene Brown, Lucas William Brown and Eleanor Rose Chase.
