Mr. David Lee Brinson, 60, of Lake Wylie, SC, passed away Thursday, November 6, 2025, at Novant Presbyterian Hospital, Charlotte, NC.

David was born on May 8, 1965, in Charlotte, NC to the late Monroe Brinson and Margaret Ann Cargyle Barnard.

Survivors are his wife Lisa Meyer-Cuno Brinson; son Colton Worth Brinson; stepchildren Brenna Vargas (Emmanuel) and Logan Hunter (Amanda); grandchild Luca Vargas; and brother Duncan Price (Lucy).

David was a kind and gentle soul who loved helping others and spending quality time with his family. David was devoted to his wife Lisa and enjoyed doing everything with her. David enjoyed cruising and traveling with friends and family, watching sports, and listening to rock music. David was also known for his quick wit and strong sense of humor.

Including his parents, David was preceded in death by his step-mother, Frederica Brinson, who raised him since the age of two. 

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Imagine Church of the Carolinas, 5501 Highway 55 E., Clover, SC with the Rev. Bruce Jones officiating. The family requests attendees wear bright colors or vacation/island attire as a way of celebrating David’s life. Reception to follow at 587 Bonum Road, Lake Wylie, SC 29710.
