Donnie was a Ford man, always wearing a Ford hat or shirt. He enjoyed older westerns, particularly with John Wayne.  His happy place was at Holden Beach, NC during his retirement years and was able to see it one final time before his passing.  He rode his golf cart around the neighborhood, visiting his friends with a smile and said, “Glad you got to see me.”
