Mrs. Dora Lee Lloyd Sargent, 81, of Clover, South Carolina, passed away Saturday, August 17, 2024, at Harbor Chase of Rock Hill, Rock Hill, SC.
Mrs. Sargent was born February 9, 1943, in Warrenton, VA, to the late William C. and Ethel Virginia Pierce Lloyd.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Clyde A. Sargent, her daughters, Melissa M. Hanson (Thomas), Charlotte, NC, and Teresa A. Stevens (Dan), Mooresville, NC, her grandchildren, Ryan Hanson, Ben Hanson, Marc Stevens, and Will Stevens, and her sister, Peggy Newkirk.
Dora was a devoted and loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother. She was known for her smile; it always lit up the room. She brought joy, laughter, and love to so many, but above all, her capacity for unconditional love is how she would want to be remembered and the action she would want each of us who knew her to carry forward.
1 Corinthians 13:1-8a, 13: "Love never fails. And now abide faith, hope, love, These three; but the greatest of these is love."
