Obituary
Mrs. Dorothy Ann Matthews Cook, 83, of Clover, SC, passed away Thursday, March 9, 2023 at home.
Memorial service will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday, March 12, 2023 at the Lake Wylie Christian Assembly, 5766 Charlotte Hwy., Lake Wylie, SC with the Rev. Lewis Gunn officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at their home.
Mrs. Cook was born July 21, 1939 in Eden, NC to the late Grady Alvis and Ruby Ada Pulliam Cook.
Survivors are her daughter Alice Faith Nations (Chad) of Fort Mill, SC; son Paul Cook, Jr. (Patricia) of Clover, SC; grandchildren Danielle Smith (Jon), Matthew Cook (Brittany), Matthew Smith (Shelby), Hannah Nations, Michael Nations, Austin Nations, Danny Freeman; great grandchildren Jaxon, Jacob, Amelia, Shalene, MJ, Joe, and Isaiah and her special fury companion Wenston.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Scott, brother, George Matthews, and a granddaughter, Brittany Cook.
