Mrs. Dorothy May Ryan Oteri, 95, of Clover, South Carolina, passed away, Monday, October 30, 2023, at home.

Mrs. Oteri was born March 27, 1928, in Cambridge, MA, to the late William Joseph Ryan and Elizabeth LaFort Ryan.  She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 60 years, Guy Joseph Oteri, her daughter, Dorean Brougher, her son, Thomas W. Oteri, her grandson, Jonathan, her sister, Pearl, and her brothers,James and William..

Dorothy raised five children, was a licensed beautician and a licensed massage therapist.  She was flamboyant and had a strong personality.  She loved telling stories (tall tales) and making people laugh. 

She is survived by her daughters, Christine Sevener (Dan) of Clover, SC, and Marie Drake (John), of Alabama, her son, Guy Oteri, Jr. (Anne) of Merrimac, MA, ten grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and one arriving in December.

She will be missed by many!

A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
