Obituary
Mr. Elbert Eugene “Gene” Bingham, 80, of Clover, SC, passed away Sunday, August 20, 2023, at home.
Mr. Bingham was born December 15, 1942, in Gastonia, NC, to the late Elbert Bingham and Essie Olla Morrison Bingham. He was preceded in death by Wanda Bingham (daughter-n-law), Dazy Spinks (great granddaughter), and Buddy Tate (brother-n-law).
He is survived by his wife, Jesse Carolyn Millen Bingham of 62 years; his sons Rick and Mike; grandchildren, Jay Spinks, Carley and Lance Byrum; great grandchildren, Hanna, Kane and Abel (Chubs) Spinks, Sebastian and Fabian Stewart and Zayden Neal; sister Parthenia Tate; niece, Angela Byrum and husband, Greg.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, August 24, 2023, at M. L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home, 209 N. Main Street, Clover, SC, with the Rev. Tony Adams officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service.
