Elizabeth “Lib” Park Jones of Lake Wylie, SC (formerly of Charlotte) answered Jesus’ call and passed from this life into Heaven on September 2, 2021. She crossed over peacefully surrounded by her family.

Lib, who was lovingly referred to as “Maw Maw” by her grandchildren, was born February 18, 1921 to Hilbert and Eltha Park. She brought with her a light and love for life. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Jim and Lib spent many years living and entertaining at The Carlton on Queens Road. They also enjoyed many years entertaining with family and friends at their home in Withers Cove on Lake Wylie.

Lib lived her life to the fullest and truly enriched the lives of those around her. Her heart was always open to her family and she leaves a legacy of love and faithfulness. She had a wide circle of friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Lib always had a smile on her face and was a treasure to those around her. Lib recently celebrated her 100th birthday and was surprised with a birthday parade of family and friends and was also honored as a Centenarian by Governor Henry McMaster of South Carolina.
