Mrs. Elizabeth “Elsie” Kisch, 102, of York, SC, passed away Saturday, March 26, 2022 at White Oak Manor, York, SC.

Mrs. Kisch was born November 25, 1919 in Union, NJ.  Elsie was 1 of 7 children born to the late Charles and Catherine Backer Seitlinger.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Edward Kisch of 50 years. 

Elsie was retired from Bishop Kenny High School, Jacksonville, FL as an assistant librarian and was active in the Eastern Star and the Girl Scouts.  She loved to read and knit as a past time and later in life, she enjoyed her cat, Marlie.  Elsie always had a smile and she baked the best birthday cakes.  She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.  We love you Mom!

Survivors are her children Susan Birch of York, SC, Edward Kisch (Carol) of Salisbury, MD, Richard Kisch (Michelle) of St. Augustine, FL, Linda Hubbard (Roger) of Maitland Nova Scotia, and Christine Wright (Michael) of York, SC; ten grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.
