Mrs. Elizabeth “Stella” Bolin Whittle-Maldonado, of York, SC, was born on July 16, 1977, in Gastonia, NC, to Steve Wilburn Bolin and Linda Kay Smith-Bolin.  At 10:00 a.m., on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, she passed away surrounded by her family at CaroMont Health in Gastonia, NC.

Stella was the beloved wife of Keith Maldonado and cherished mother of Conley Whittle, Chanler Whittle, and Cameron Whittle, all of York, SC.  She is also survived by her parents Steve and Linda Smith-Bolin of Clover, SC, and her sister Michelle Shires of Clover, SC.

Stella was a devoted military mother who lived for her sons, and a talented musician with a voice known and adored by many near and far.  She loved DIY crafts, vacationing at the beach, and being in the yard with her dogs and her chickens.  Mrs. Whittle-Maldonado worked as a consultant with Bank of America for the past 5 years. She will be missed by all who knew her.
