Mr. Eugene Randolph Currence, 78, of Clover, SC, passed away Saturday, April 5, 2025, at home.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at M. L. Ford & Sons, 209 N. Main St., Clover, SC, with the Rev. Roger Overton officiating. The family will receive friends 1 hour before the service. Interment will be in Bethel Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 2445 Hwy. 557, Clover, SC.
Mr. Currence was born August 28, 1946, in Clover, SC to the late Andrew Randolph and Janie Rebecca Love Currence. He was a Veteran of the U. S. Army and was a residential contractor.
He loved God, his family and his country. He loved his pet dogs Sweet Pea and Tootsie. He was a very generous man who helped anyone who needed. He enjoyed gardening, mechanical work, and building. He was very friendly and loved to laugh. His family was his heart.
Survivors are his daughter Mary Beth Hendricks (Jay Olivero); sister Jeannette Lineberger, Lillian Davis, and Rebecca Currence; grandchildren James Randolph Peacock (Hailee Jones) and Margaret Casteel Peacock (Hunter McConnell); great grandchild Wylie Saylor; special niece and caregiver Penny Mahaffey; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, Eugene Randolph Currence, Jr., his brother, Ralph Currence and his sister, Nancy Mauney.
