Mrs. Evelyn Hoyle Brandon, 91, of Clover, SC, passed away Friday, September 3, 2021 at CaroMont Health, Gastonia, NC.

Funeral service will 11:00 am Monday, September 6,2021 at Redeeming Grace Presbyterian Church, 4800 Charlotte Hwy., Lake Wylie, SC with the Rev. Aaron Morgan and Rev. Alan Wiley officiating.  Interment will follow in Bethel Presbyterian Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday night at M. L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home, 4820 Charlotte Hwy., Lake Wylie, SC.

Mrs. Brandon was born January 24, 1930 in Catawba County, NC to the late Lemuel Vata and Alpha Rudisill Hoyle.  She was the widow of Neal Wilson Brandon and was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Carl and Robert Hoyle and a sister Martha Welch.

Survivors are her daughters Karen B. Simms (Tom) and Mary B. McGill (David) both of Clover, SC; brother Charlie Hoyle (June) of Goldsboro, NC; 4 grandchildren Courtney S. Rumsey (Brandon) of Lancaster, SC, Tommy Simms (Ashley) of Clover, SC, Bethany Brooks (Harrison) of Ft. Campbell, TN, and Natalie McGill of Clover, SC; 4 great grandchildren Claire & Carly Rumsey and Thomas & Lilly Simms; and many nieces and nephews.
