I have the saddest and most heartbreaking announcement. On 2nd September, 2020, my twin flame, my loving and dearest husband and your son, brother, father, uncle, friend, colleague and the greatest man I know, Frank Ray Cole Jr., passed away at home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Hickory, N.C. on July 18, 1971 to Anna Marie and Frank Ray Cole. He grew up in Hudson, NC and his childhood nickname was "Charlie". After graduating high school, Frank joined the United States Army and fought in the Bosnian War and Gulf War at the rank of Sergeant. During his service, he graduated from Hawaii Pacific University. Later on, he graduated from American Intercontinental University. He had a very successful career as a Senior Software Engineer and worked with companies around the world, most recently with Compact Power / The Home Depot in Fort Mill, SC. Programming, technology, and computers were his passion and hobby as was his new found enjoyment, 3D printing. He was talented with everything he put his hands on. He was an inventor and held many patents. He loved animals, music, good food, and travelled around the world. He had a good sense of humor, great personal character, and a big heart. There was nothing in his life that he was afraid of. He was brave, strong, and had unique wisdom. He had faith in God.
He excelled in each role in his life, especially as a father.
Frank is survived by the love of his life, Daniela Cole; children, Marek (Elizabeth), Kathleen (Tom), Nicholas, and Collin; mother Anna; in-laws Bronislava and Miroslav; sister Analecia and her family; brother in-law Radim and his family; nephew James and his family; and other members of his family.
