Fred Alvin Stewart, Sr., 94, of Clover, South Carolina, passed away Friday, October 8, 2021, at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House, in Rock Hill, South Carolina.
He was born July 23, 1927, in York, South Carolina, to the late Charles Enos Stewart and Ida Love Stewart.
Fred is survived by his wife, Carolyn Parker Stewart; his daughter, Deborah S. Fritts (Rick) of Clover, SC; his sons, Fred A. Stewart, Jr. (Mary) and Christopher N. Stewart (Kelly), both of Clover, SC. He is also survived by six grandchildren: Amy Quinn (Nathan), Lisa Stewart, Jason Goins (Jennifer), Annette Highsmith (Fred), Michelle Gentry (Michael), Justin Stewart, and 8 great-grandchildren: Madison Quinn, Molli Quinn, Meg Quinn, Greer Goins, Greightyn Goins, Kingston Highsmith, Adalee Gentry, and Serenity Stewart. He is predeceased by great-grandchild Noah Gentry.
The family has requested that memorial contributions in Fred’s name be made to Hospice & Community Care, P. O. Box 993, Rock Hill, SC 29731 (HospiceCommunityCare.org).
