Mr. Garnie James Simmons, 68, of Clover, SC, passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at home.

Mr. Simmons was born August 19, 1957 in Weirton, WV to the late Harry Harvey and Delores Jean Jarrell Simmons.  He was employed with American Airlines and was a U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force veteran.

Garnie is survived by his wife of 49 years, Eileen Margret Shaffer Simmons; daughter Christi Ann Simmons Csonka of El Dorado, KS; son Zachary Garnie Simmons of Williamsburg, VA; and grandchildren Asher, Aleks, and Finn.

Including his parents, his was preceded in death by his brothers Harvey Simmons and Michael Simmons.

Services will be private.
