Geneva Crawford Smith, age 96, of Clover, passed away Saturday, October 16, 2021 at home.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 21, 2021 at the Bethany A.R.P. Church with the Rev. Benjamin Glaser and Rev. Alan Morrow officiating.  The family will receive friends 1 hour before the service at the Church.  Interment will be in the Church cemetery.

Mrs. Smith was born December 10, 1924, in Gaston County, N.C., to the late James Newell Crawford, Sr. and Nannie Foy Crawford.  She was the valedictorian of her 1947 graduating class at Bethany High School.  Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Edward Smith and a son, Charles Lee Smith.

Survivors are her sons, David Carl Smith (Wynelle) and Ronald James Smith (Kim), both of Clover, SC; brother Alfred Crawford (Corky) of Clover, SC; eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
