Mr. George Lewis Quinn, 84, of Clover, South Carolina, passed away Sunday, March 2, 2025, at home surrounded by his family.
A visitation will be held Thursday, March 6, 2025, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., at M. L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home, 209 N. Main Street, Clover, SC. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. following the visitation, in Woodside Cemetery, Clover, SC.
Mr. Quinn was born July 29, 1940, in Gastonia, North Carolina, to the late Robert Marion Quinn and Etta Mae Biggers Quinn.
Mr. Quinn was a devoted lifetime member of the Bethel Fire Department – the third member of the Fire Department in November 1966.
He is survived by his sons, William “Bill” Lewis Quinn (Libby), Clover, SC, and David Graham Quinn (Melissa), Clover, SC; his grandchildren, William Lewis Quinn, Jr., Zeke Marquett Quinn (Nina Davila), David Garrett Quinn, and Emily Gadsden (Jacorey); his great-grandchildren, Cairo Gadsden and Caspian Gadsden; and his brothers, Howard M. Quinn, Gastonia, NC, and Ronnie B. Quinn, Dallas, NC. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Mae Adams Quinn; his sisters, Margie Costner and Betty Allen, and his brothers, Donald Quinn, Raymond Quinn, Clyde Quinn, and Robert Quinn.
