Mrs. Gladys Howe McCarter, age 95, formerly of Clover, SC, passed away Thursday, April 1, 2021 at Cottingham Hospice House, Seneca, SC.

Private Burial Services were held at Woodside Cemetery, Clover, SC beside her husband, Jack.

Mrs. McCarter was born April 4, 1925 in York County, SC to the late William Howe and Cora Lee Martin Howe.  She was the widow of David Jackson McCarter and preceded in death by her sister, Lucie Howe Smith and her brother, William E. “Bud” Howe.

Survivors are her daughter Jackie McCarter Hoshaw, her son-in-law Donald Hoshaw Jr. and her granddaughter Katherine Elizabeth Hoshaw of Seneca, SC.
