Henry Gilewicz Obituary

Henry 'Hank' Gilewicz, 89, son of the late Michael Karol Gilewicz and Stephanie Kilarski Gilewicz passed from this world peacefully and went to his heavenly reward on January 6, 2021.

He loved the Lord with his whole heart and drew strength daily from the Bible. He was a loving husband and father. Hank was born on April 27, 1931 in Brooklyn, NY but has lived in Lake Wylie, SC since 1986. He served proudly in the U.S. Army from 1953 to 1955 and was a Korean war veteran. He received a master's degree from Columbia University in Engineering and soon after started his career at IBM. He retired at the age of 46 due to his entrepreneurial efforts in the network marketing industry with his beloved wife, Alicia Gilewicz. Since 1974, Hank and Alicia traveled the country and the world speaking on the topic of business, personal success, and Free Enterprise. Until a few years ago, Hank loved traveling to Poland almost every year since 1991 where he combined his love of business and ministry and as missionaries, Hank and Alicia have worked with 5 different orphanages in Poland and the Ukraine. Hank always loved to read and share his knowledge of history, finances and the Bible. He was a faithful and loving husband and father and will be missed greatly by his wife, Alicia who he was married to for the past 62 years.

He is survived by his wife, Alicia Gilewicz and their two sons, Michael Gilewicz and Mark Gilewicz. 

A memorial service will be held at Antioch International Church (www.AICChurch.com) 453 Glynwood Forest Drive, Fort Mill, SC 29715 on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 3 PM.  The service will be live-streamed and information on how to participate will be on this website: www.FrozenFootprints.com. Hank Gilewicz will be laid to rest at the Lake Wylie/River Hills Cemetery.
