Hugh Donovan Walker passed away April 15, 2021, born November 7, 1932. He was the son of  the late Fred and Elva Mace Walker.  Surviving are his wife, Henrietta W. Walker, whom he married September 12, 1956. Son Jeffrey L. Walker, grandsons and wives Spenser D. and Jessi Walker, Austin G. Walker and Brenna Walker of Lake Wylie, daughter Jennifer Walker Hardy and husband Steven L. Hardy, two grandsons Walker Hardy of Naples, Florida and Gary S. Walker of Guam, brothers, Harold M. Walker and daughter A. Dianne of Hillsboro, Ohio, Joseph R. and wife Janet Walker of Batavia, Ohio, sister Marilyn Patterson of Tennessee, and many nieces and nephews.

Member of community church in Lake Wylie. In 1968 he left Ohio to join a Proctor & Gamble Plant in Mehoopany, PA.  After living in Tunkhannock, PA for several years he left to be closer to family in South Carolina.

Hugh loved gardening and was interested in family.  In 1971-72 he and a dear friend, Russ Gunton, started a 13 year old baseball team for young boys.  He loved to see very active fellowship.

We would like to thank the caregivers from Hospice Palliative Care and Bright Star and their many wonderful helpers.  Hugh was especially fond of Mighty Mite from Bright Star.  Her personality and attentive care was super fantastic.
