Mr. Jack Wilson Carroll, 88, of Clover, SC, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House, Rock Hill, SC.
Mr. Carroll was born January 22, 1938, in Bowling Green, SC, to the late Giles Wilson and Agnes Ferilean McCarter Carroll. He was a U. S. Air Force Veteran and was retired from Duke Power.
Throughout his life he enjoyed music and singing, especially songs by Elvis Presley. He enjoyed playing Santa Claus at Christmas time, perfecting his “ho, ho, ho”. He was kind and loving to everyone he met, he lit up every room he entered, and was a beloved resident at White Oak Manor where he never passed up an opportunity to smile and say hello, shake a hand, or offer a hug.
Survivors are his daughters, Jackie Blackwell, Kelly Lovelace, and Lee Ann Childers; sisters, Barbara C. Beamguard and Ann C. Goode; and sister-in-law, Beverly Carroll. Jack was preceded in death by his wife, Diane Carroll, sister, Minnie Jean Cook, and brother, James Labon Carroll.
Funeral service will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 7, 2026, at M. L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home, 209 N. Main St., Clover, SC. Interment will be in Lakeview Memory Gardens, 1774 Filbert Hwy., York, SC. The family will receive friends 1 hour before the service.
