Mr. James Lewis Moore, 57, of York, SC, passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at Atrium Health, Pineville, NC.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 3, 2022 at Calvary Baptist Church, 490 Griggs Rd., Clover, SC with the Dr. Elwood Seamster officiating.  Interment will be in Forest Hills Cemetery, 4920 Old York Rd., Rock Hill, SC.  The family will receive friends 1 hour before the service. 

James was born June 17, 1964 in Rock Hill, SC.  James was a jack of all trades and a ball of energy.  You heard him coming long before you saw him and he never met a stranger.  James loved Jesus, his family, and motorcycles too.  Affectionately known as Pop Pop, Dad, DD, Baybay, Mule, Quake, Jamie and Jimbo-he will be missed by all who knew him.  Fond memories of spontaneous Sunday trips to the mountains, the beach, and Tennessee will always be treasured by his family.

Survivors are his wife of 37 years Julie Lynn Moore; daughters Stephanie Robinson (Craig) of Clover, SC and Kimberly Smith (James) of Charleston, SC; father John Wiley Moore, Jr; mother Bobbie Oliver Moore; brothers John Moore (Janice) and Mike Moore (Amanda) both of York, SC; grandchildren Carter & Cohen Robinson and Hudson & Holden Smith; aunt Judy Craig (Jerry) and cousin Sherrie Cross (John) both of Rock Hill, SC and many nieces and nephews.
