Mr. James Randy Trantham, 75, of Clover, South Carolina, passed away Thursday, February 15, 2024, at home.

Mr. Trantham was born June 22, 1948, in Gastonia, NC, to the late James Willard Trantham and Stella King Trantham.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret Jane Harris Trantham; his daughter, Angela Trantham Stephens, Lake Wylie, SC; his son, James Brett Trantham (Leann), Clover, SC; his grandchildren, Alex Trantham, Christopher Trantham, Michael Stephens, and Deborah Ewers; his three great grandchildren; his stepchildren, Shane Stanley, Chad Stanley, Tammie Duty, and Tracy Hancock; his sister, Carol Dixon; and his brother, Steven Scott Trantham,

A funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 17, 2024, at the Bethel House of Prayer, 951 Riddle Mill Road, Clover, SC, with the Rev. Chris Williams and Minister Gene Spurling officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour before the service beginning at 1:00 p.m.  Interment will follow the service at Union Road Presbyterian Church, 5615 Union Road, Gastonia, NC.
