Mr. James Lacy Stewart, 77, of York, SC, passed away Sunday, January 29, 2023 at Piedmont Medical Center, Rock Hill, SC.

Funeral service will be 11:00 am Thursday, February 2, 2023 at M. L. Ford & Sons, 209 N Main Street, Clover, SC. The family will receive friends 1 hour before the service.  Interment will be in Woodside Cemetery. 

Mr. Stewart was born December 27, 1945 in York County, SC to the late Paul Haskel and Ola Mae McCarter Stewart.  He was retired from South Carolina DOT and was currently an attendant with the York County Recycling Center.

Survivors are his wife Lucille Smith Stewart; sons Edward H. Stewart of Vale, NC and James W. Stewart (Cindy Melton) of York, SC; one granddaughter and one great granddaughter.
