James “Butch" Edward Houston, 76, of Clover, SC, passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at CaroMont Health, Gastonia, NC.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 15, 2022 at Greater Life Ministries, 3307 Filbert Hwy., Clover, SC with the Rev. Milton Smith officiating.  The family receive friends 1 hour before the service.  Interment will be in Lakeview Memory Gardens, York, SC.

Mr. Houston was born July 22, 1945 in Seneca, SC to the late Charles Houston and Elizabeth Leatrice Lewis Robinson.  He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Kelley Houston and brother, Randy Brewer.

Survivors are his wife of 35 years Patricia Owens Houston; daughter Kimberley Scott (Brian) of Lugoff, SC; step-son David Patrick Howell (Annette) and step-daughter Kathy Lynn Wilson (Jay) both of Clover, SC; sister Cheryl Gilliam; grandchildren Ashleigh, Cheyenne, Kaylan, Kirby, Tucker, Nick, Reynin, Brayden; and four great grandchildren.
