Mr. James Edward “Jimmy” Burton, age 75, of Clover, South Carolina, passed away Sunday, June 28, 2026, at home.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Judy Burton; his daughter, Nicki Baker (Jimmie Lee), Clover, SC; his son, Brian Burton (Meggan), Greenville, SC; his three grandchildren and 2 bonus grandchildren and his four bonus great-grandchildren; and his brother, Tim Burton (Bobbie), Clover, SC.  

Jimmy was preceded in his passing by his sisters, Polly Stiles and Doris Davidson, and his brother Gary Burton.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 2, 2026, at Bethel Baptist Church, 6381 Lake Wylie Road, Lake Wylie, SC, with Rev. Drew Boland and Rev. Steve Kirby officiating.  The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall one hour before the service beginning at 1:00 p.m.
