Mr. James “Jimmy” Pressley Cobb, passed away Thursday, October 29, 2020 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Services will be private.

Mr. Cobb was born August 24, 1952 in York, SC to the late Raymond and Betty Jo Neely Cobb.  He was preceded in death by his parents, and sisters, Barbara Cobb and Susan Cobb Dixon.

In his final days, Jimmy asked that three things be conveyed to all who knew him, and especially to his family.

First, he wanted everyone to know that though his life style was often unorthodox and destructive, he had few regrets.  Second, he loved his family and one of the few regrets he had was that he didn’t let them know how much he loved them.  Third, after years of struggling with many demons, he finally and truly replaced those demons with the love and salvation of God.

Survivors are his sisters, Pat Mobley (Richard), Wanda Montgomery (Ron), and Sandy Blackwood (Dennis); and brothers, David Cobb, Steve Cobb (Terri), Don Cobb (Dottie) and Brian Cobb (Denise).
