Mrs. Janet Lovelace Burton, 59, of York, South Carolina, passed away Friday, May 8, 2026, at home surrounded by her family. 

Mrs. Burton was born January 23, 1967 in Gastonia, NC, to the late Ronald Christopher Lovelace and Sandra Diane Hooper Ogden.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Earl Joseph Burton, Sr.

Survivors are her sons, Earl Joseph Burton, Jr. and Mark E. Burton (Ashley) both of York, SC and grandchildren Mark E. Burton, Jr., Natalie Carol Burton, and Madeline Eliza Burton.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at M. L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home, 209 N. Main St., Clover, SC with the Rev. Aaron Bridges officiating.  The family will receive friends 1 hour before the service.
