Mrs. Eunice “Jean” Varner Gregory, 83, of Graham, North Carolina, passed away Saturday, April 19, 2025, at her son’s home in Lake Wylie, South Carolina.

Mrs. Gregory was born October 23, 1941, in Buffalo, SC, to the late Walter Glen Varner and Eunice Pearl Lancaster Varner.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Ray Gregory and her brother, John Varner. She worked as an after-school teacher at different schools around Graham and touched the lives of many kids and parents. She was a wonderfully amazing mother and friend!

She is survived by her sons, Scott Gregory and wife Ginny, Myrtle Beach, SC, and Allan Gregory and wife Kathy, Lake Wylie, SC; her grandchildren, Heather Ashby and husband Matt, Hunter Gregory & Colton Gregory; her great-grandchildren Austin Ashby & Will Ashby; and her twin sister, Jane Padgett.

There will be no services at this time.
