Ms. JoEllyn “Jody” Kay Hamilton Sundberg, 70, of Lake Wylie, SC, passed away Monday, August 11, 2025 at home.

Services will be held in Kewanee IL at a later time.

Ms. Sundberg was born November 29, 1954 in Kewanee, IL to the late Harlan Robert Hamilton and Loris Marion Oberg Hamilton.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Martha Standaert, Phyllis Hand, Carol Wolf, Judy Miller, Bob Hamilton and Cyrilla Zarkovich. Jody was retired from nursing.

Survivors are her sons Troy Michael Sundberg (Lidia) of Lake Wylie, SC and Eric Nathaniel Sundberg (Kelley) of Loves Park, IL; brothers David Hamilton (Pat) of North Vernon, IN and James Hamilton of Galva, IL; seven grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.

Inurnment will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 29, 2025 at All Saints Catholic Church, Lake Wylie, SC.
