Mrs. Betty Joan Peake, 91, passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at Somerby Edgewater, Indian land, SC.

Mrs. Peake was born January 6, 1935 in Clover, SC to the late Claude C. and Ethel Evelyn Sinclair Beamguard. 

Survivors are her daughters Lynn Barnjum, Anne Deshields (Don) and Rebbeca Speagle (Matt); son James Peake (Gina); grandchildren Kelly Eckley, Ashley Rosales, Nicholas Ryals, Aaron Deshields, Trevor Peake, Bailey Peake, and Colie Peake; great grandchildren Adelina Rosales, Rhett Eckley, Cooper Peake, Braxton Peake, and Cooper Ryals; sister Margaret Corbett; and brother James Beamguard.

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Colie Leonard Peake, her companion, Robert Paul, sons, Dale Timothy Peake and Michael Leonard Peake, and brother Larry Beamguard

A graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 20, 2026 at Woodside Cemetery.  The family will receive friends following the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 124 Bethel Street, Clover, SC 29710 or to a Hospice of your choice.
