Mr. Joe Edward Conner, 93, of Lake Wylie, SC, passed away Sunday, November 30, 2025, at the Stanley Total Care, Stanley, NC.

Mr. Conner was born February 3, 1932, in Rutherfordton County, NC to the late Joe Marion and Carrie Conner Conner.  He was retired a Master Sergeant from the U. S. Airforce and was the owner of Progressive Textiles.

Mr. Conner was preceded in death by his wife of 71 years, Joann Burch Conner, two sisters, and two brothers.

Survivors are his daughter Sharon C. Brown (AC) of Lake Wylie, SC; son Dennis E. Conner of Charlotte, NC; two grandchildren, Jay Hibberts and Michael Hibberts and spouses; four great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.

The family wishes to thank CaroMont, Hospice, and Stanley Total Care for the excellent care received. And special thanks to Kristin Hibberts for her time, love and extra care.

The family will have a private service.
