Mr. Johnny Guy Davidson, 80, of Clover, SC, passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2022, at Atrium Health, Pineville, NC.

A Memorial Service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 18, 2022, at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 1915 S. New Hope Rd., Gastonia, NC, with the Rev. Jeff Lindsay officiating.  Interment will be in Bethel Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Clover, SC.  The family will receive friends 1 hour before the service at the Church.

Mr. Davidson was born September 16, 1941, in Clover, SC, to the late James Campbell Davidson, Sr. and Nannie Oliver Hudson Davidson.  Johnny Guy was retired from the banking industry and enjoyed playing the piano and organ.  He was preceded in death by his sister, Marcene D. Little, and one brother, Samuel Davidson.

Survivors are his brothers, James C. Davidson, Jr. (Carolyn) and Charles “Bud” Davidson (Betty); sister-in-law Peggy Davidson; and many nieces and nephews.
