Mr. Joseph Dineen, III, 82 of York, SC, passed away Saturday, July 19, 2025 at Piedmont Medical Center, Rock Hill, SC.

Mr. Dineen was born February 24, 1943 in Carney, NY to the late Joseph Dineen and Audrey Madison Crosby.  He was a U. S. Army Veteran and was retired from the US Military Academy at West Point.

Survivors are his wife of 46 years, Linda Tremper Dineen; daughter Tracey DiMaria, of new Paltz, NY; son Christopher Dineen of New Windsor, NY; step son Stephen Littier (Shannon) of Walden, NY; and  brother John Dineen.

He was preceded in death by a son, Joseph Michael Dineen and brother, Lawrence Dineen.
