Joyce Caroline Ramsey, 82, of Lake Wylie, South Carolina, passed away Friday, August 5, 2022, at Lake Wylie Assisted Living.

She was born September 21, 1939, in Henderson, North Carolina, to the late Julius Lamar and Caroline Mary Hiatt Ramsey.  She worked for the Civil Service in Charleston, SC while also serving in the United States Navy Reserve for 20 years.  After retirement, she pursued her passion for massage therapy and graduated from the Somerset School of Massage Therapy.

Joyce is survived by her sons, Thomas Dixon (Stacy), Clover, SC, Jerome Knight (Sandy), Ladson, SC, and Ronald Knight (Claudia), North Brunswick, NJ, and her brother, Philip Ramsey. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Colzy Knight, Victoria Knight, Kylie Knight, Alyssa Dixon, Sara-Kate Dixon, Alex Dixon, Chaz Dixon, and Lili Dixon and her niece, Caroline Ramsey Russell.

There will be a small gathering for family only.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hospice Foundation of America.
