Mrs. Judy Brock Duke, 77, of Clover, SC, passed away Monday, October 7, 2024, at Atrium Health, Pineville, NC surrounded by her family.

Memorial service will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday, November 9, 2024, at the Allison Creek Presbyterian Church, 5780 Allison Creek Road, York, SC.  The family will receive friends beginning at 11a.m. before the service.

Mrs. Duke was born August 2, 1947, in Huntsville, AL to the late Cecil Ford and Annie Margaret Lewis Brock. Judy and Rick met as teenagers and quickly realized they had found "the one." Not long after, they were married and embarked on an incredible 61-year journey together. They began their life in Charlotte, where they started their family before eventually moving to Clover, where they built the home in which they would raise their three sons. Over the years, their family grew as they became proud grandparents to five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Judy and Rick shared a love for adventure, traveling extensively throughout their years together. Remarkably, they visited all 50 states and explored many other destinations across North and South America. Judy was especially known for her incredible cooking and baking skills. Whether it was a holiday gathering, a church function, or a simple Sunday family dinner, her dishes always left everyone saying, “Wow, that was fantastic!” While her recipes could be followed, there was one special ingredient only she could add—her love. She cherished her family above all else, and that love was evident in everything she made.

Judy was also a dedicated member of her church, Living Waters, where she played a vital role in organizing events, coordinating donations, and managing the weekly newsletter.

Her legacy of love, warmth, and service to others will live on through her family and the many lives she touched.  Judy was deeply loved and cherished and will be missed by us all.

Survivors are her husband of 61 years, Maston “Rick” Hendrick Duke, III; sons Hank Duke (Jennifer) of Clover, SC, Mike Duke (Michele) of Rock Hill, SC, and Cam Duke (Melia) of York, SC; sister Terri B. Hughes; grandchildren Garrett Duke (Ashley), Kassidy Duke (Hunter Wigington), Jac Duke, Alex Duke, and Ella Duke; and great grandchildren Macy Duke, Addilyn Duke and Rhett Duke.
