Julia Ann Hullett Gibson, 90, of Bowling Green, SC, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 23, 2020, surrounded by her family.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 26, 2020 at M. L. Ford & Sons, 209 N. Main St., Clover, SC. Interment will be in Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends 1 hour before the service at M. L. Ford & Sons and other times at the home of her daughter, Lisa Grice.
Julia was born on May 4, 1930 in Bowling Green, SC. She was the daughter of Charles William Hullett and Connie Rhyne Hullett. She was one of nine loving siblings She was a graduate from Clover in 1947 where she was on the National Honor Society, Paper Staff, JHA, Glee Club, Clover Steno and retired from Bowling Green Spinning Company.
She is survived by her daughter Lisa Grice, son-in-law Randy Grice of Clover; granddaughters Kayla Grice-Parker (Laramie), Samantha Grice of Clover; grandsons Chuck Gibson of TN, Richie Dixon of Bowling Green, Seth Dixon of Clover; one great granddaughter Carole-Ann Parker; sisters, Grace Clemmer and Dot Wallace of Bowling Green; sister-in-laws, Dot Hullett of Clover and Mary Greene of Kings Mountain, NC.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband, Lloyd L. Gibson, a son, Charles Gibson Sr. (Eddie or Bud), a daughter, Carole Dixon, sisters, Effie Mae Jones and Agnes Hullett, brothers, Bill Hullett, James Knox Hullett, Fred Hullett and Kenneth Hullett.
