Mrs. Karen Sue Barr Burdette, 79, of York, SC, passed away Thursday, December 18, 2025 at home surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Burdette was born December 20, 1945 in West Virginia to the late Charles Carl Barr and Edith Mae Hall Barr Johnson.  She was the widow of Charles Edward Burdette.

Survivors are her daughter Sheri Lynn Burdette; sons Robert Scott Burdette and Matthew Brandon Burdette; grandchildren Cori Burdette, Victoria Mengelkamp, Marlena Mengelkamp, and Brandon Burdette; great grandchildren Renli and Maverick Upchurch.
