Katherine “Kathy” Marie Skinnell Collins, age 64, of York, South Carolina, passed away Sunday, April 12, 2026, at home, after her long battle with cancer.

Katherine was born August 16, 1961, in Orlando Florida, to Ashby Penn Skinnell and the late Josephine Genton Skinnell.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Raymond Penn Skinnell and mother, Josephine Genton Skinnell.

She is survived by her father, Ashby Penn Skinnell; her sisters, Debbie Skinnell and Corrie Lovell; her son, DeLloyd Ray Davis, III; and her two grandchildren, Kaylin Marie Davis and Brandon Carson Davis.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 16, 2026, at Clover First United Methodist Church, 124 Bethel Street, Clover, SC, with the Rev. Scott Gilmer officiating.  Interment will be in Woodside Cemetery, Cemetery Street, Clover, SC.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., at M. L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home, 209 N. Main Street, Clover, SC.
