Mrs. Kathleen Chance Wiggins, 79, of York, SC, passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at home.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, December 22, 2023, at All Saints Catholic Church, 530 Highway 274, Lake Wylie, SC with Father John Giuliani officiating.  Interment will be in Lakeview Memory Gardens, York, SC.  The family will receive friends one hour before the service, beginning at 12:00 p.m.

Mrs. Wiggins was born August 22, 1944, in Laurel Hill, NC, to the late George Washington and Beatrice Marsh Chance.  She retired from the State of North Carolina.

Survivors are her husband of 61 years, Willie Earl Wiggins; daughter Amy Scharpenberg (Michael); son Willie Wiggins (Olivia) of McColl, SC; grandchildren Christopher Wiggins, Cameron Wiggins, Emma Scharpenberg, Susannah Scharpenberg, and Peter Scharpenberg; and great grandchild, Kaiden Miller.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Bessie, Blondel, Georgie, and Ruby.
